Albert Gregory
Albert Gregory (he/him) graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from SF State. He currently attends the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. In the Spring of 2022, he served as the Managing Editor for Xpress the Magazine and, in the Fall of 2021, he was the Multimedia Editor for the Golden Gate Xpress newspaper. In addition, Albert was Editor-in-Chief at the Oak Leaf newspaper at Santa Rosa Junior College during the 2017 Tubbs Fire. He is a freelance writer/ photographer, and his work has appeared in The Press Democrat, USA Today and Bleacher Report. Albert was born in Portland, Oregon, but grew up a military brat on a Coast Guard base in Novato, California. He currently lives in Sonoma County.

Also, produced articles and multimedia content. Additionally served as Sports Editor and was responsible for overseeing the sports section by assigning stories, copy editing, editing photos, designing the layout for the website and the newspaper, and following up with writers and teaching them the skills required to cover sports.
Editor-in-Chief at The Oak Leaf

Responsibilities as Editor-in-Chief were to come up with story ideas and assign them to either the editors or the staff writers. Ran the story budget meeting, came up with the creative design for the paper, copy edited everything, edited photos and managed the content for the website and the newspaper.
